In
1999,
the band adopted name "New Age Flamenco" and
practiced frequently playing popular tunes by Armik, Ottmar Limbert,
Carlos Santana,
Jessie Cook, Mark Antuan, Oscar Lopez. Their music reflects a strong
Latin connection, Mediterranean folk, European roots, jazz, and
a gypsy
soul blended with the infectious rhythms of modern music masters
like Steve Wonder, Sting, and the guitars of Paco DeLusia and Santana.
It
is inspired by rumba, son, tango, bossa nova, beguine, flamenco
and urban American grooves. New Age Flamenco personifies eclecticism
by
absorbing their influences and combining them to create a new,
personal
sound of their own. All musicians are professionally trained and
have a grate stage experience. |
